1. What Akari collects
To function, Akari may process:
- Message content sent to her directly (mentions, replies, and command inputs), images are not currently processed and are deleted immediately.
- Discord identifiers such as user ID, server ID, and channel ID, used to route responses and apply server settings.
- Server settings configured by admins through commands like
/settings. - Conversation context kept temporarily so Akari can hold a coherent conversation.
Akari does not read messages she isn't mentioned in or replying to, and does not scan entire channel histories.
2. How it's used
Data is used only to generate Akari's responses and to operate her features (context memory, settings, slash commands). It is not sold, and it is not used to build advertising profiles.
3. AI processing
Messages sent to Akari are processed by an underlying AI model in order to generate a response. This may involve sending message content to OpenAI for processing which do not use your data for training. You can review their privacy policy here
4. Retention
Conversation context may be stored as memories to maintain a coherent conversation and is not cleared unless requested. Server settings persist until changed or Akari is removed from the server.
5. Your controls
- Removing Akari from a server stops her from processing further messages there.
- You can simply not mention or reply to Akari if you'd prefer she not process your messages.

6. Children's privacy
Akari is not directed at children and should only be used in servers that comply with Discord's own age requirements.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. By continuing to use the bot you agree to this privacy policy, Akari will also notify you of this.
